Superyum!

Superyum! was our very first DoorDash original product, based off of an insight about how better to connect with our modern parent audience. Superyum! was created to bring people together in an educational and meaningful way, inspire wonder, enhance playtime, and facilitate quality time together with friends and family (safely!) after a challenging year.

The game features a wide variety of cuisines, sparking conversation about different cultures and helping players travel the world while playing the game. And the first person to reach the finish gets to choose what to order for dinner! We also created a folding direct mail version of the game, produced a short commercial, and launched with a full suite of in-app and CRM marketing assets.


Art Direction

For the art direction, I was inspired by the artwork of Richard Scarry and children's activity books like Where’s Waldo. Partnering with illustrator Jiaqi Wang, we strove to create an overall illustration that could stand alone as a piece of artwork, peppering in delightful moments and playful visual puns. The game takes players through Breakfastland, Lunchland, Dinnerland, and Dessertland, and also features an array of illustrated game cards that offer some facts about each of the cuisines.
